Research lines: Risk communication; disaster prevention and mitigation; climate change; vulnerable territories.

MiniBio: PhD student in the Postgraduate Program in Social Communication (PósCom) at the Methodist University of São Paulo (UMESP), with a sandwich doctorate internship in Communication and Semiotics at the Université Paris Cité - Sorbonne, in France. He is a CAPES scholarship holder. Master in Social Communication from PósCom-UMESP, as a full CNPq scholarship holder. He is a postgraduate student in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) - Responsabilité Social des Entreprises (RSE), at the LiveMentor Higher Education School, in France. Specialist and Consultant in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Organizations (DI). Professional journalist (Mtb: 94.024SP), Theologian, Philosopher, Writer and Researcher in Communication. In addition to HumanizaCom, he is a member of the Semio Humanitas research group, also at UMESP. He studies and works with the following themes: Climate Change; Environmental Management and Education; Corporate Social Management; Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility; Environmental disasters and risks; Inclusion of minorities; Inclusion and Diversity; Invisibility; Otherness; Struggle for recognition; Ethnic representation; Disasters and Climate Change; Vulnerability and Social Inclusion; Risks and Social Inequality; Humanitarian Journalism and Inclusive Journalism; Risk Communication and Territoriality. He is also the author of the book-report Dor no Peito: O Desastre da Vale em Brumadinho Além do Silêncio and of several articles published in books, magazines and conference proceedings. He has taught extension courses at several higher education institutions. He worked in the Risk Communication team (2023-2024) of the project to prepare the first National Civil Defense and Protection Plan, developed within the scope of International Technical Cooperation BRA/12/017 – Project Strengthening the Disaster Risk Management Culture in Brazil, between the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Ministry of Integration and Regional Development (MIDR), through the National Secretariat for Civil Defense and Protection (Sedec).
