From October to November 2016, HumanizaCom researcher and photojournalist Lucas Siqueira visited the Indian subcontinent. Each topic addressed by the photojournalist varies according to the region he visited. In the capital Delhi, the researcher focused on studying Indian politics and the leaders of its independence, Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Mohammad Ali Jinah (founder of Pakistan), as well as Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and the evolution of feminist movements. In the city of Vrindavan, the research focused on the philosophical study of Hindu religions of the Krishna branch and the sacred book of the Bhagavad Gita. In Agra, the research focused on the study of the Mughal Empire, especially Emperor Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaz Mahal. In the state of Rajasthan, the research focused on the study of armed conflicts involving India and Pakistan. In Jaipur, the main subject is The Jaipur Foot (the cheapest leg prosthesis in the world, intended mainly for landmine victims, the prosthesis is known for having a black foot because its raw material is tires). The focus of the studies in the city of Jodhpur was the Indo-Pakistani wars and the possession of nuclear weapons. During the period in the city, the researcher was able to witness attacks between the two countries. In Jaisalmer, a region of the Thar Desert, the studies focused on the ancient camel caravans that were the main means of spreading spices and products, as well as the great Hindu religions. In Varanasi and Kahjuraho, the research was in the areas of Indian philosophy and religion. The compilation of subjects addressed by the researcher was later published in a photographic and multimedia exhibition accompanied by his first book Ekspo Mondo from 2019.
